Frittelli Maritime Group Spa is a company based in Ancona operating in the maritime sector. It was set up through the
fusion of Frittelli Spa Maritime Agency, thus achieving a perfect combination with the experience and tradition of the former and the
efficiency of the latter.
Frittelli was established in 1903 and developed its business in the fields of both customs and foreign warehousing, in the embarkation
and disembarkation of containers and various goods and as agents of tramp ships. The Frittelli Maritime Agency entered the market in
1986, rapidly acquiring a notable share of the market in passenger traffic and representing the most important container companies.
Knowing that the evolution in shipping and the continuous focus on the shipping industry also necessitated an adequate support from land
structures, the shareholding components of the two companies found a solution in line with the times. An important banking group became
shareholder of Maritime Agency after which an industrial plan was initiated giving life to this "important company from Ancona".
The establishment today is made up of an organization with its headquarters concentrated in a unique and prestigious 1.600 square
meter office in the historical center of Ancona, with approximately 70 employees. The various departments of the company and its
numerous suburban structures are managed from Headquarters in Lungomare Vanvitelli Street and also functions as the operational
quarters for the Vasto, Ravenna and Savona branches.
Numerous business of the Group include covered and uncovered harbour warehouses of over 50.000 square meters located in Ancona
and Vasto, cranes and lifting machinery from the Harbour Contractors Division, container ships and drill ships. |
